Back to School Bash serves as a conclusion to the summer ahead of the first day of school

Oxford residents celebrated the start of the school year at the Back to School Bash on Aug. 10 at the Oxford Aquatic Center.

The Kiwanis Club hosted the event, where attendants swam, went down an inflatable Titanic slide and caught up with each other ahead of the first day of school this week.

Students as well as parents and family members gathered at the Aquatic Center from 5:30-8:30 p.m. to conclude the summer before the start of the fall school year.
