OPD responds to a variety of cases across town
The Oxford Police Department (OPD) responded to a variety of cases as the calendar turns to October.

On Sept. 29 at 9 a.m., a scooter was reported stolen from an uptown apartment complex, according to the media report.
Later that day, at 11:45 a.m., OPD officers issued a citation to a subject trespassing on the property of Kramer Elementary, according to the media report. The individual refused to sign the citation, attempted to walk away from officers, resisted arrest, damaged the interior of the police car on-scene and was taken to the Butler County Jail, according to the media report.
At 6:37 p.m., a male was reported for attacking an individual at the Oxford Lane Library, according to the media report. The suspect was arrested and taken to the Butler County Jail.
On Sept. 30 at 7:54 p.m., a male reported fraudulent activity with a banking institution, according to the media report.
On Oct. 2 at 12:18 p.m., an e-bike was reported stolen off a porch overnight, according to the media report.
At 2:33 p.m., a juvenile was arrested for suspicious activity, according to the media report.
At 9:14 p.m., a potential sexual assault occurred, according to the media report. An investigation is ongoing.
On Oct. 5 at 1:44 a.m., an underage male was found walking with an open container and issued citations, according to the media report.
Thirty seconds later, an underage male was found lying face down on a sidewalk, arrested and taken to the hospital, according to the media report.
At 7:40 a.m., a male was reported to be passed out in an alley near an uptown business, according to the media report. After waking up, the male was cited with disorderly conduct, underage offenses and prohibitions and was transported home.
On Oct. 6 at 2:40 a.m., OPD received a call reporting the theft of a scooter over the weekend, according to the media report.
