On Sept. 15 at 1:31 a.m., officers were dispatched for a father and son arguing, according to the media report. The son was found to be an unruly juvenile.

That afternoon, at around 12:55, officers met with an individual at the police station to discuss a theft, according to the media report. An investigation is ongoing.

That evening, at around 5:13, a report was made stating that an individual was assaulted while walking home from uptown on Sunday at approximately 3 a.m., according to the media report. The victim said that he was struck in the face from behind before the unknown suspects fled the area. An investigation is ongoing. 

At 7:26 p.m., an individual reported that someone had entered his vehicle the day before and took money from inside, according to the media report. The media report said that both suspects were identified and charged accordingly.

At 11:08 p.m., officers responded to a dog bite, according to the media report.

On Sept. 17 at 3:01 a.m., two males reported to the OPD that they were being followed home by four males, one of whom was known to them. The known male proceeded to assault the two male individuals. The media report said that the assault stemmed from a verbal altercation in a bar and an investigation is ongoing.

On Sept. 18 at 1:33 a.m., a report of an intoxicated male was called in by a business in the 0 block of East High Street, according to the media report. The media report stated that the male was found to be underage, in possession of a fake ID and unable to care for himself. He was transported to the hospital and issued multiple alcohol-related summons.

At 12:57 p.m. that day, a male was stopped and arrested by OPD for having multiple active warrants, according to the media report. Upon search, drug abuse items were discovered. Charges are pending a laboratory analysis, according to the media report.

At 3 p.m. that day, a juvenile at Talawanda High School was deemed unruly, according to the media report.

At 11:18 p.m., officers were dispatched to 36 E. High St. to respond to a fight, according to the report. Upon arrival, Butler County deputies had a male in custody who had fought bar staff and was heavily intoxicated, according to the media report. The male was also found to be underage and in possession of a fake ID. 

On Sept. 19 at 12:59 a.m., a male’s ID was declined at a local bar and lost during the exchange, according to the media report.

At 2:44 p.m., a student received a concerning direct message on Instagram after a post, according to the media report.

At 10:05 p.m., a male clerk of an establishment sold an alcoholic beverage to an underage person, according to the media report. The clerk was cited and released.

At 10:06 p.m., a female employee sold an alcoholic beverage to an underage individual and was cited and released, according to the media report.

At 10:39 p.m., two males were observed inside a bar with alcoholic beverages, according to the media report. Officers identified these men and found them to be underage and in possession  of fake IDs, according to the media report. Both individuals were cited and released.

On Sept. 20 at 1:07 a.m., a female was found passed out on the curb outside Brick Street Bar, according to the media report, The media report stated that she was underage and in possession of a fake ID. She was cited and taken to the hospital.

At 1:55 a.m., officers responded to a domestic violence in progress, according to the media report. A subject was arrested and transported to Butler County jail. 

At 2:17 a.m., officers were dispatched to a report of a male who had been assaulted and stopped by the Miami University Police Department (MUPD), according to the media report. 

Later that morning, at around 9:43, an individual reported that his vehicle’s rear window was shattered overnight by an unknown suspect, according to the media report.

At 4:18 p.m., an intoxicated male driver struck a parked car, was arrested and released, according to the media report. 

At 9:53 p.m., officers were called to the 5400 block of College Corner Pike to assist a family with getting their son medical attention by transporting him to the hospital, according to the media report.

At 11:10 p.m., officers responded to a passed out male and transported him to the hospital, where he was issued a citation, according to the media report.

On Sept. 21 at 12:53 a.m., officers responded to a fight on the 0 block of East High Street, according to the media report. The male was arrested after a foot pursuit.

At 2:01 a.m., an officer was flagged down by an individual who was assaulted, according to the media report.

At 4:09 a.m., a male was reported slumped over on a livestream, according to the media report. Upon arrival, officers found a deceased individual from what appeared to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound, according to the media report. 

At 5:49 p.m., officers were dispatched to Locust Car Wash for damage to one of the car wash bays, according to the media report. A report was filed to document the damage.
