Hanover Township Administrator retires after 19 years

Hanover Township Administrator Bruce Henry retired on Sept. 11. During a meeting of the Hanover Township trustees on Wednesday, Sept. 16, the trustees passed a motion to accept Henry’s retirement.
Trustee Diana Ramsey told the Oxford Free Press that Henry “originally did leave … due to some health conditions, and then chose to retire.”
Henry was unavailable for comment.
Henry had been township administrator since February 2007, according to his LinkedIn page.
During his tenure, Henry “oversaw (the township’s) everyday needs and worked with (its) different departments as a key person to filter all township information,” Ramsey said.
Trustee Larry Miller said during Wednesday’s meeting that “Hanover Township is seeking resumes” for the position of township administrator. In an interview, Ramsey said the township “will be posting the position through (its) social media site, along with other sites,” though no specific timeline was given.
