Hanover Township Trustee resigns, board accepting applications
“We extend our best wishes to Mr. Miller in his future endeavors and thank him for his service to the Hanover Township community.”
The Hanover Township Board of Trustees accepted former trustee Larry Miller’s resignation on Oct. 8, according to an online statement from the board.
“Mr. Miller dedicated many years of service to Hanover Township,” the board wrote in the release. “The Board of Trustees sincerely appreciates his years of service, dedication, and contributions to the township and its residents. We extend our best wishes to Mr. Miller in his future endeavors and thank him for his service to the Hanover Township community.”
Miller served Hanover Township as a member of the board of trustees for 18 years after being appointed by Trustee Doug Johnson and former trustee Fred Stitsinger. Prior to then, he attended many meetings as a member of the public.
Miller told the Oxford Free Press the reasons for his resignation are personal.
