Miami hosts 20th annual student fashion show
Following the show, two students were awarded $10,000 in Altman Institute for the Humanities Scholarship funds.
Miami University’s Fashion and Design program hosted its 20th annual student showcase in Millett Hall on April 25.
Miami University Fashion and Design is the primary fashion organization on campus in the College of Creative Arts and the Farmer School of Business and includes opportunities to explore the fashion industry through marketing, event planning, design, photography, business, finance, graphic design and modeling, according to a news release.

This year’s fashion show, called Allure, was one of the largest student-run shows in the nation, according to a news release. The show featured 87 models and 22 student designers.
Following the show, two students were awarded $10,000 in Altman Institute for the Humanities Scholarship funds.
Student Design Director Camille Keaty, a senior, was awarded $5,000 for having the “most creative” designs. Molly Forgach, a senior, was awarded $5,000 for having the “most commercial” designs.
