Miami students graduate on rainy Oxford day
Miami University held its 187th Spring Commencement the morning of Saturday, May 16, after a 30-minute weather delay.





Hundreds of students walked across the stage, diplomas in hand, starting the next chapter of their lives.
Miami University President Gregory Crawford presided over the ceremony, accompanied by Board of Trustees Chair and John Harbaugh. Harbaugh, class of 1984, head coach of the New York Giants and member of the prestigious Cradle of Coaches, gave the keynote address.



Between May 16 and 17, divisional and graduate recognition program ceremonies were also held for the College of Engineering and Computing, the College of Arts and Science, the College of Education, Health, and Society, the College of Creative Arts, the Farmer School of Business and the College of Liberal Arts and Applied Sciences.
Around 4,500 Miami students graduated over the weekend.
