Obituary: Beverly Persinger

Beverly Persinger, age 72, passed away peacefully in the late morning of Jan. 16, 2026, at Woodland Country Manor Nursing Home. 

Born on July 22, 1953, in Hamilton, Ohio, Beverly was the beloved daughter of Gerry (Winkler) and the late Richard Muenchenbach.

Beverly lived life with an open heart and a joyful spirit. She found her greatest happiness outdoors, whether playing softball, admiring horses or spending time with her beloved golden retrievers. Known for her warm, outgoing nature, Beverly had a special gift for making others feel welcome. She treasured time spent with her family and friends and created lasting memories through laughter, kindness and connection. 

After 30 years of dedicated service, Beverly retired from Miami University, where she proudly served as Director of Purchasing.

She is survived by her mother, Gerry Muenchenbach, sister, Janet (Scott) Blakley; niece, Heather (Wes) Cole; nephew, Matt (Sarah) Lowitz; great-nephew, Brody Cole; and step-son, Scott (Sarah) Persinger.

Beverly was preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Richard Persinger; father, Richard Muenchenbach; maternal grandparents, Clarence and Pearl Winkler; and paternal grandparents, Alvin and Ruth Muenchenbach.
