Obituary: Jan C. Reinhart

Jan C. Reinhart, age 71, passed away peacefully on the afternoon of Feb. 21, 2026, at The Knolls of Oxford.

Born on Dec. 17, 1954, Jan was the beloved daughter of the late Roy Herbert and Elizabeth June (Whitesell) Reinhart. She grew up in the Oxford community she cherished and later graduated from Miami University with a bachelor’s degree.

Jan will be remembered for her gentle spirit, steady presence, and the quiet kindness she extended to those around her. She found comfort in her roots and remained deeply connected to the place she always called home.

She is survived by her siblings, Johanna Maye Reinhart and William Allen Reinhart. Jan was preceded in death by her parents.

Jan’s life was one of grace and warmth, and she leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to live on in all who knew her.
