Obituary: Judy Peck
Judy Ann Peck, age 74, entered her eternal home at her residence in Williamstown, Kentucky, on Nov. 11, 2025, after a lengthy illness.
Born Oct. 15, 1951, in Hamilton, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Donald Lee and Maxine Faye Petry Truster.
Judy was united in marriage to James Cecil Peck, Aug. 16, 1969, a beautiful union that lasted until his passing May 11, 2022.
After many years of service, Judy retired as an IT Support Tech at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio.
Her gentle, sweet disposition caused her to be endeared by everyone that knew her. Her greatest legacy will be her loving and faithful commitment to the Lord throughout the years, coupled with her desire to meet people and share her love. Through her involvement with the Great Oxford Community Foundation and serving in her church (The Mount), she made a positive impact on the lives of countless individuals.
She and her husband enjoyed playing in the Grant Co. Rook League She enjoyed ministering through the distribution of commodities for the Grant Co. Senior Center. Among her hobbies were quilting and canning. She enjoyed cooking and had a true passion for all animals, especially cats.
In addition to her husband and parents, Judy was preceded in death by two sisters – infant Donna Jean Truster and Marietta Roy and one brother Frank Truster.
To carry on her legacy are son Jeff (Peggy) Peck; brother Ken (Sybil) Truster; sisters Loraine (Mike) Sheley and Trudy (Doug) Roberts; grandchildren Ashley Peck and Kyle Peck; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Nov. 15, 2025, at Stanley Funeral Homes, Williamstown, Kentucky. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy can be made in the form of donations to The Mount Church, 400 Eibeck Lane, Williamstown, Kentucky 41097, or to the Greater Oxford Community Foundation, 22 East High Street, Oxford, Ohio 45056.
