Obituary: Sarah Fritsch

Sarah Roberta Fritsch, age 68, peacefully passed away at home on the afternoon of March 20, 2026. 

She was born on June 9, 1957, in Glendale, Ohio, to the late Dana Robert James and Sarah K. (Burkhardt) James. 

After graduating high school, she dedicated over 20 years of her life to working in the bookstore at Miami University. Her impact on those around her was profound; she was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister. Sarah’s nurturing spirit made her a cornerstone of her family, always ensuring that everyone's needs were met. She was a steadfast support for her son, providing strength and guidance. 

Sarah was preceded in death by her devoted husband of 37 years, Kevin Fritsch, and her beloved parents. She is survived by her son, Dennis Spencer; grandson, Jordan Spencer; granddaughter, Aaliyah Spencer; and her two sisters, Deborah (Larry) Garver and Tari Grimes.
