The Oxford Police Department (OPD) handles minimal crime reports in the final days of 2025.

On Dec. 29 at 10:27 a.m., a threat was received via email by the Hillel Foundation in Oxford, according to the media report. Officers reported to its building and found nothing suspicious around the property. 

At 10:40 a.m., officers responded to a shoplifting report on College Corner Pike. The suspect was arrested upon the arrival of police and will be charged, according to the media report.

On Dec. 30 at 4:12 p.m., an individual reported his car keys stolen from inside his car while left unoccupied, according to the media report. The OPD has no suspects at this time.

On Jan. 1, officers were dispatched to a residence following a hangup during a call. Upon arrival, officers found that domestic violence had occurred and the male party had fled the scene, according to the media report.
