Theft, intoxication and various crimes head a busy week in Oxford.

On Oct. 20 at 8:56 a.m., an Oxford Police Department (OPD) officer was dispatched to the garage area of Level 27 apartments for a report of stolen items, according to the media report. It was discovered that two subjects had taken numerous scrap items that were left alongside the building.

At 1:41 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the Locust Street carwash for a damage report on a carwash bay, according to the media report.

At 3:57 p.m., an officer in the OPD lobby to speak to an individual about stolen medication, according to the media report.

On Oct. 21 at 6 p.m., an officer met with Oxford Lane Library staff to discuss a report of a disorderly person walking through the parking lot threatening others in the area, according to the media report.

On Oct. 23 at 12:27 a.m., unsecured e-bikes were stolen from the bottom of a stairwell outside of the complainant’s apartment, according to the media report.

On Oct 24 at 1:04 a.m., OPD officers and EMS were dispatched to the 100 block of East High Street to a report of a female who was heavily intoxicated and acting strangely, according to the media report. Upon arrival, officials also found the female to be underage. She was transported to the hospital for evaluation. 

Shortly after, at around 1:39 a.m., a call came in that reported two females vomiting in public, according to the media report. Upon arrival by officers, both were found to be underage and under the influence of alcohol. 

On Oct. 25, at 2:31 a.m., OPD received a report by a caller for the usage of a lost credit card by an unknown individual, according to the media report.

At 2:50 a.m., officers found a male passed out, intoxicated and underage, according to the media report. He was transported to his friend’s residence after being cited.

At 6:18 p.m., a juvenile was cited for being unruly for walking away from home after an argument with his father, according to the media report.

On Oct. 26 at 1:21 a.m., a pedestrian stop was made in front of the OPD for a male that walked in front of a cruiser after not having the sign to walk, according to the media report. The male was told to stop but ran from officers. He was eventually taken into custody and found to be intoxicated, underage and in possession of a fake ID.

At 3:55 a.m., officers were dispatched to pick up a SANE kit from the Fort Hamilton Hospital, according to the media report. The crime that occurred is still unknown at this time.
