The Oxford Police Department (OPD) responded to various incidents during a slow week between April 20 and 27.

On April 20, just after 6 p.m., a member of a fraternity reported his speaker was stolen from the front porch of the fraternity house over the weekend, according to the OPD media report.

On April 22, at 11 a.m., an individual reported being bitten by a dog while walking at the Oxford Community Park.

On April 22, just after 7 p.m., officers responded to a report of a trespasser at Parkview Arms Apartments, according to the OPD media report. Police made contact with a female who had an open warrant. She resisted arrest and was found to have drug paraphernalia, according to the incident report. 

On April 23, just after 4 p.m., officers met with the on-duty pharmacist at the Kroger pharmacy about a threat made by an upset customer in the drive-thru, according to the OPD media report.

On April 25, just after 11 a.m., officers met with two individuals about a reported burglary, according to the OPD media report.

On April 25, just after 12:30 p.m., officers responded to a building in the 400 block of East Church Street for a report of vandalism, according to the OPD media report. A suspect was identified and a report was taken.

On April 25, just after 5:30 p.m., two individuals were found to be extremely intoxicated and unable to care for themselves, according to the OPD media report. The two were taken to the hospital and cited for disorderly conduct.

On April 25, just after 11:30 p.m., a male reported being assaulted in front of a house in the 300 block of East Vine Street, according to the OPD media report. There is no video surveillance or suspects at this time. 

On April 26, just before 12:30 a.m., a female was charged with having an open container of alcohol, consuming alcohol while underage and possessing a fictitious identification, according to the OPD media report. 

Also during the week, OPD responded to an unruly juvenile and an active dispute.
