Deanna Jean (Lemmons) Richardson, age 85, of Oxford, passed away on Friday, July 17, 2026. 

Deanna was born in Hamilton, Ohio, on March 4, 1941, to Robert and Ida Mae (Eiler) Lemmons. 

She attended Talawanda High School, graduating in 1959. A year later, she married her high school sweetheart, Larry Richardson, on Nov. 5, 1960, and they were blessed with four children: Brenda (Daniel) Bertsch, Larry (Mary) Richardson Jr., Mark (Jamie) Richardson and Matthew (Laura) Richardson.

As a woman of faith, she was a devoted member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Deanna’s life was a testament to kindness, compassion and unwavering devotion to her family. Deanna lived each day with a gentle strength, offering encouragement, comfort and love to everyone she met. Her faith guided her, her family grounded her and her heart made her unforgettable.

She poured her love into generations, leaving behind a legacy that will continue to grow through her four children, 16 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren – each of whom she cherished deeply. 

She is also survived by her sisters, Carolyn Russell and Anne Brewer; her brother Steve Lemmons; and many other relatives and friends.

Deanna now rejoices in Heaven, reunited with her beloved husband, Larry Richardson, whose memory she carried with her every day. She is also reunited with her parents, Robert and Ida Mae Lemmons, and her grandsons, Thomas and Luke, whom she held close in her heart. Though her absence leaves an ache that cannot be filled, her family finds comfort in knowing she is surrounded by the loved ones she longed to see again. Her memory will continue to shine in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
