Obituary: Eddie Clayton

Edward M. “Eddie” Clayton, age 64, passed away Sunday April 27, 2025. He was born May 3, 1960 in Oxford to the late Earl and Carolyn (Morrison) Clayton. Eddie is survived by three

siblings: Michael (Theresa) Clayton, Hamilton, Ohio; Gerald “Scott” Clayton, Oxford, Ohio; and Karla Seidl, Flower Mound, Texas; seven nieces and nephews: Phillip (Katharine) Clayton, Adam (Desirae) Clayton, Tyler (Marissa) Clayton, Alexandria (Lawrence) Hernandez, Bobby Seidl, Abbagail Seidl, Ryan Seidl; many great nieces and nephews, lifelong friend and brother Barry (Cindy) Breen and many other family and friends.

Eddie loved spending time outdoors, camping and fishing. He loved spending time with family and his great nieces and nephews brought a smile to his face every time. He loved his family so much.

Our family would like to sincerely thank Woodland Country Manor Nursing Home in Somerville, Ohio for being Eddie’s extended family, loving and caring for him the past two years.

A Graveside service will be Friday, May 9, 2025 at 11 a.m. in Maple Grove Cemetery, Brookville, Indiana.
