Emma Jean Dunn, age 73 of Oxford, Ohio, went home to be with her Lord on Sunday, Sept. 20, 2026.

Emma was born in Massillon, Ohio on Oct. 12, 1952 to Eugene and Beverly Nicewander.

On March 3, 1972 she married the love of her life, Shawn Dunn and on March 14, 1980, they both received Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Together they served the Lord planting a church in Eastern Ohio and pastoring for 24 years in several cities.

For the past 16 years, they have traveled the country representing Victory Baptist Press of Milton, Florida, a ministry of printing the gospel in its simplest form for free distribution. VBP is a ministry of Victory Baptist Church, where Shawn and Emma are members. Emma was a proud wife and mom and above all, loved the Lord her Savior. While serving Him, she met and ministered to hundreds who love her dearly.
