He enjoyed coaching youth baseball and softball with his kids for many years. He loved watching the Cincinnati Reds and watching his grandkids play sports.
Fred S. Garnett passed away on July 16, 2026 at home. He retired from Schneider Electric after over 40 years and was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army after serving in Vietnam.
He enjoyed coaching youth baseball and softball with his kids for many years. He loved watching the Cincinnati Reds and watching his grandkids play sports. He was an amazing father, husband and brother who was always there for his family.
Fred was the beloved father of Deanna Fletcher, Maria Garnett, Brent (Larissa) Garnett and Kendra Garnett and the loving grandfather of Jericho and Ryder Fletcher, Landen Schaeff, Alex and Makenzie Garnett and Regan Carpenter.
He is also survived by his brothers Charlie (Val) Garnett, Ron Garnett, JD (Tammy) Garnett, Dick Parker and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his wife of over 46 years, Rebecca Garnett, infant son Kenneth S., infant daughter Ruby Deanna, sister Joyce Parker, brother Dale Garnett, parents John and Helen Garnett and nephew Geff Garnett.
