His life offered a powerful example of what it means to have unrelenting strength, fierce love and unwavering devotion to the Lord. His years of hard work and sacrifice were a testament to how deeply he cared for his family. Jeff always made sure there was a bedroom available for anyone who needed it, as long as they did not mind watching his favorite movies with him at maximum volume. He exemplified how to navigate hardships with grace and resiliency, allowing his faith and family to care for him in return.
Jeff appreciated the simple joys that made life meaningful. He had a special love for cars, specifically his Plymouth Belvedere, made one of a kind through its memories spent racing, its unique shade of blue and the duct tape on the back seats. Jeff enjoyed mornings with hot chocolate, quiet days spent fishing with family and evenings filled with Hallmark movies, Westerns and football games. His favorite pastimes included mowing the lawn, reading his Bible and watching his digital photo frame that displayed the many cherished memories of his beautiful life.
Sunday mornings had a special place in his heart as he sat in a pew surrounded by his brother, children and grandchildren while listening to his pastor’s sermon and granddaughter’s singing during worship.
Jeff filled the lives of those around him with love, faith and humor. His memory will continue to inspire us,and his presence will be felt in our hearts forever. Jeff will be deeply loved and dearly missed.
