The Oxford Police Department (OPD) responded to various incidents, including theft and vandalism, between May 25 and June 1.

On May 25 at 2 a.m., three vehicles in the 700 block of Fuller Way were burglarized sometime during the night, according to the OPD media report. A company work phone and $7 were stolen, and the rear corner window of a truck was damaged, according to the incident report. There are no suspects at this time.

On May 26, just after 11 p.m., officers recovered two containers with unknown substances from a vehicle during a traffic stop in the 5000 block of College Corner Pike, according to the OPD media report. The driver was issued a traffic citation and released.

On May 27, just after 11 a.m., a male got into a physical altercation with security at McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital, according to the OPD media report. The male resisted arrest, but was eventually detained and taken to Butler County Jail.

On May 27, just after 6 p.m., a juvenile damaged a male’s front door at Parkview Arms Apartments by kicking it repeatedly, according to the OPD media report. A report was taken.

On May 31, just before 2 a.m., a female was found unresponsive in the driver’s seat of a car, according to the OPD media report. She was arrested for operating a vehicle impaired.

Also during the week, OPD responded to a domestic violence incident.
