OPD responds to theft, damage reports
The Oxford Police Department also arrested a male for abusing harmful intoxicants.
The Oxford Police Department (OPD) responded to several theft and damage reports between July 27 and Aug. 3.
On July 27, just after 2 p.m., officers were dispatched to Kroger for an active dispute between two individuals who had prior confrontations, according to the OPD media report.
On July 29, just before 1 p.m., a female in the 300 block of Brookview Court reported her fence was damaged by an unknown person, according to the OPD media report.
On July 29, just after 11 p.m., a male in the 600 block of South Locust Street reported his car stolen, according to the OPD media report.
On July 30, just before 7 a.m., a male at The Commons reported his electric bike was stolen overnight, according to the OPD media report.
On July 31, just after 8 p.m., the Oxford Wash reported a vacuum was damaged after someone used it to suck up paint, according to the OPD media report.
On Aug. 1, just before noon, a male was arrested for abusing harmful intoxicants while in the Uptown Parks, according to the OPD media report. He was transported to the Butler County Jail.
Also during the week, OPD arrested a female for domestic violence.
