The second annual Oxford Bee Fest drew a crowd to Uptown on Saturday, April 18, despite light rain and gusty winds.

Local vendors and residents filled the streets with bee-themed merchandise, costumes, music and food, celebrating the city’s long-standing ties to bees and beekeeping.

Local musicians performed throughout the event and residents could watch professional beekeepers create a “bee beard” out of hundreds of bees.
