The Oxford Kiwanis Club will host its 70th annual Pancake Day on Saturday, April 25. The breakfast will take place at Talawanda High School from 7 a.m. to noon.

In addition to unlimited pancakes, two sausages and a beverage will be served to each guest. A variety of toppings are available at no additional charge.

Gluten-free options will be available to guests as well.

Tickets can be purchased from Kiwanis members for $9 at the door. Attendees under 5 years old can enter for no charge.

Jim Kiper, a member of the board of directors at the Oxford Kiwanis Club, said, “It takes a lot of people to help make (the event) a success. I’ve been amazed at the number of people involved.”

Kiper said he appreciates the many businesses around Oxford that have assisted with getting food donations for the event.

“It’s an amazing community,” Kiper said.

Members of the club will help flip pancakes at the event. Local volunteers, as well as the Boy and Girl scouts, will also be at the event to help. The Miami University Glee Club will perform.
