Peggy Lenora Popham, age 67, of Winchester, Kentucky, passed away at her home on Dec. 5, 2025.

Born on Jan. 12, 1958, to Raymond and Louise Brake, Peggy was the youngest daughter in a large, loving family.

A meticulous and dedicated worker, she poured her heart into everything she did. Whether gardening, restoring antiques or caring for those she loved, Peggy had a lifelong connection to nature, and every garden she tended flourished. She had a passion for antiques and early Americana, bringing new life to forgotten pieces and preserving the stories they carried. Peggy never met a stranger. Her kindness, warmth and easy conversation made friends with everyone she encountered. Even during everyday trips to her local stores. Her ability to connect deeply and genuinely with others was one of her greatest gifts. Faith and family were at the center of Peggy’s life. She began each morning with Bible study and lived her values with quiet strength. She often said, “thoughts are things,” encouraging those around her to nurture positivity and purpose.

Peggy is survived by her husband, Dennis; her children, April (Robyn) Popham and Scott Popham; her grandchildren, Asher and Bear; and her sisters, Rita and Patty. She was preceded in death by her parents and siblings Raymond, Louise, Ray Jr., Grady, Arthur, and Billy.

Her family finds comfort knowing that her legacy lives on in the gardens she nurtured, the friendships she made everywhere she went, and the love she shared so generously.
