The Oxford Police Department (OPD) responded to several damage reports, including two to vehicles and one to a building, between June 1 and 8.

On June 1, just after 10:30 a.m., a male caused damage to the door frame of an apartment on East High Street, according to the OPD media report. The parties are attempting to handle the issue civilly at this time.

On June 3, just after 3:30 p.m., a female reported someone keyed her vehicle in the 6000 block of Fairfield Road, according to the OPD media report.

On June 3, just before 5 p.m., officers responded to United Dairy Farmers for an assault on an employee, according to the OPD media report. The employee knew the suspect, according to the incident report.

On June 4, just before 11 a.m., a female reported her debit card was used at Kroger without permission, according to the OPD media report. She gave officers the name of the person she suspects took her card, according to the incident report.

On June 7, just before 1 a.m., officers took a report for a damaged vehicle with a smashed windshield in the Uptown Parking Garage, according to the OPD media report. The investigation is ongoing.

Also during the week, OPD arrested someone with an active warrant who, during the arrest, damaged a police cruiser, attempted to kick an officer and spat on an officer twice.
