The Oxford Police Department (OPD) responded to several theft reports, including stolen packages and shoplifting, between June 15 and 22.

On June 15, just before 1 p.m., a suspicious vehicle was spotted in the field by Kramer Elementary School, according to the OPD media report. The vehicle caused damage to the field.

On June 15, just after 6:30 p.m., three juveniles engaged in disorderly conduct at Parkview Arms Apartments, according to the OPD media report.

On June 16, just before 7 a.m., Tractor Supply Company reported an unknown male stole two batteries on June 15, according to the OPD media report.

On June 17, just before 11 a.m., a resident in the 1000 block of Ironwood Drive reported several packages had been stolen over the last couple months, according to the OPD media report.

On June 19, just after 3:30 p.m., a Walmart employee reported his hat and glasses were stolen after setting them down, according to the OPD media report.

On June 20, just after 1 a.m., a male was found passed out in the driver’s seat of a vehicle, according to the OPD media report. He was arrested for physically controlling a vehicle while under the influence.

On June 20, just before 10:30 a.m., police responded to a theft report at Parkview Arms Apartments, according to the OPD media report. A suspect has been identified.
